The Lahti Region offers a truly remarkable concentration of cleantech expertise - a cluster consisting of some 120 companies, a five-university consortium, and public development organisations, all of which are seeking to promote the cleantech sector.

Business activities that are based on clean technologies are growing rapidly in the Lahti Region, and the prospects for growth continue to be excellent.

Lahti Science and Business Park has a significant role in backing up the development of cleantech business in the Lahti Region by promoting the regional environmental cluster and by coordinating the National Cleantech Cluster.
